Enjoy the taste of a classic. Our Sourdough Artisan Bread Mix makes the perfect sourdough bread, with a crispy golden crust, soft chewy interior, and tangy, delicious flavor. Great as a side dish, for sandwiches, or maybe even as a bread bowl for your favorite soup, this is the bread you really could live on.
1 Hour No Knead Artisan Loaf
Place 1 cup warm water, 1 packet yeast (enclosed), bread mix, and 1 teaspoon salt (optional) in a large bowl. Stir until well combined. Place dough on a greased baking sheet and gently pat edges to shape. Let dough rest uncovered for 30 minutes in a warm place. Dust top of loaf with flour. Make three ? inch-deep cuts across top of dough using a serrated knife. Bake in preheated 425?F oven for 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown and firm to the touch.
To Make Rustic Harvest Bread
Add 1/4 cup wheat berries, 1/4 cup raw, unsalted sunflower seeds & 1 tbsp flax seed to dough mixture and bake as directed.
